Hey I just bought a headset for my computer though it has 2 plugs. One plug has a picture of a head set and the other has a picture of a microphone. Though at the front of my computer I see only a spot to put the headset. In case it helps I have a dell xp computer. Can anybody help me with this?

You have to look for the microphone thingy to plug in the headset. If they're not close to each other it may be a problem :\

Follow what Joe said, the back should have audio sockets. Each of which will have a corresponding symbol.
