Didn't watch it yet, but did you play Brits or Aztecs? If you played Brits, try some kind of Grenadier/Musket Combo. Should work (Maybe not at higher ranks, but definitely til 1.Lieut - Captain).

ok...for a quick review:

You need to scout. When you have extra wood make houses and boom like crazy. Build a market. Hussars would have handled his army. @ 7:00 mins you had 8 lb's which is way too few. Put your resources into military quicker. You had two rax but didn't spam to your fullest ability. It's almost like you concentrated too much on constant vil production and forgot to make a military.

Lastly, micro your military. Your pikes died badly to those mace's and then your lb's died to the coyotes that flanked around the pikes. Make him commit his army and have the pikes take out the coyotes.
