so if I divide 44 beers by zero beers I will get infinite beers??? OP!
Sounds good to me! Just make sure the 44 beers are good beers... I wouldn't want unlimited Jamaican Red Stripe Ales :-P Now, dividing 44 Duvels by 0... that's what I'm taking about
hhmm.... how can I put it in other words so u´ll all comprehend.

any Nº divided by zero = infinity

This is 8 grade mathematics in Portugal, and most likely all around the world.

out

PS any Nº including zero.
I still have people at work who argue with me about this on an almost daily basis.

I re-read this and I completely disagree with the bolded part. 0/0 is not infinity. It can be several thing and most arguments say it is either 0 or 1, but alas it is indeterminite. From a calculus point of view there is not enough information for anyone to determine what it should be.

Here's a link for some interesting reading.

That is correct. 0/0, infinite/infinite, 0xinfinite and infinite - infinite are all indeterminates, there are some more but those are the most important ones.

And this is 12th grade math btw :p

IMO, from a logical point of view, 0/0 = 0.
