unit team cards

Some civs have team shipments that ship some auto-upgrading units, like dog soldiers, spahi's or pets.
let's say that a sioux player ships team 2 dog soliers in age III, will his teammates receive age III stat Dog soldiers or will it depend on the age they are in?
:?:

Not sure about dog soilders, but if you send team 4 spahi in industrial they are guard, but will be imperial in imperial.

I'm pretty sure the guy's age will determine what level his dog soldiers are, but spahi don't work that way and neither do warrior priests (always have age 1 stats for non-Aztec civs).

what about pets?
it's strange that DS and spahi don't use the same logic tho :/

Strange indeed.

I'm pretty sure pets all go off of the age of the controller, as they're the same thing as any pet the person would have captured/trained.

Ok, I did a test and DS, spahi and pets all have the stats from the actual age their controller is in.

If i send team-warpriests my mate can't really do something with them, right? For him they are normal priest who can heal units and stuff (when he plays a non native civ). Do they work on iro or sioux firepits as well?

Huggy, I saw an Aztec player send team warpriests when his teammates were Soiux and Iroq. I recall at last one of them used the warpriests on his firepit, but don't really know if it worked. I'm assuming it did, but can't say with 100% certainty. It's a recent game on AgeSanct, maybe I can go back and see.
