To be honest, I find that I cannot play Iroquois effectively.

I find myself aging up late, even with the fast age-up politician.

Then when I amass a decent army to go attack with, they have a bigger army, and often more diverse. :O

iro is usually a hard civ to be playing against, the first shipment + tc BB & first wave of units from warhut = early game monster army

Yes it is but you're faster than russia so you'll have more tomas/aennas than he has strelets so you can take out his army, houses, blockhouses, vills, etc :p Of course, if the game goes on iro loses.

his BH was even up b4 your WH was. Your first shipment arrives 30 sec faster, that's he main difference and i doubt that will be enough to create an advantage

With faster I mean that I can spam units more easily and make them effective than he, I didn't have a big army right in the beginning (cause in that time im supposed to raid) but a few moments later I had 5 tomas from BB + 5 tomas from hut + 7 aenna + 4 kanya +wc against his 23 strelets+ a few musks and 5 cossacks from card. As I get his vills garrisoned he can't get the res he need to get russian batches.
