Best game ever hoho![/quote]

Thank God that hairstyling has gone a long way since 1979 Al. Same thing goes for players and their sexy aerodynamic moustaches.

Ok, so I'm "watching" this on ESPN Gamecast at work and I read the following commentary:
The atmosphere is building, fans from both sides are pouring into the ground and a thousand camera flashes punctuate the air at every turn. We are just ten minutes away from a football match of near biblical proportions. Let's just hope it's a fast-paced English classic not a dour, edgy stalemate. You are representing our great nation after all chaps; do us proud, what what.
Do some people take sports a little too seriously? I understand hype, but near biblical proportions? Give me a break... :?

I hate it when penalties decide any contest, especially tournaments or leagues. The worst was WC '94....

They should have to stay on the pitch until someone scores!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Either that or lose a man every 10 minutes until it's 4v4 and keepers. Can you imagine how that would change the game.. Anything's better than penalties.

(here's where I wish there was a barf emoticon)

Yeah playing until someone scores would be way better. Last world cup was a disgrace as well.

Well I couldn't stop laughing when Terry missed, what w t****r, went over to Tevez to start a fight when all Tevez did was the same thing Chelsea did 5 minutes earlier when Joe Cole injured his head, no wait, legs :S make your mind up!!

Gosh Van der Sar took ages to defend a penalty, he missed them all badly! At least he defended the last one :p

Terry is bad, but anelka hasnt had his mind to football since his record transfer so many years ago. Wat a wasted talent.

You can see him smile even before he gets to the ball, he knows from the moment analka hits the ball, he's probably gonna get it
