I go for my traditional tp rush that makes wonders and gives me a nice rate. I thought it would be nice to share a strat with you:

On 300w maps or 200w+treasure - get a tp and make a longhouse with the travois;

Age up with messenger poli;

get travois forward and make a hut;

ship 4 kanya and harass eco;

make toma and ship aenna/toma;

harass eco;

attack. Keep the flow with army cards and ALWAYS keep vill production constant to give you the upper hand in terms of eco.


Civs good at fencing this back: Jap. India too if you don't damage them enough. These two must be taken down asap.

will watch, but a replay vs japan would be nice...

Japan is tough because if they survive past 7-8 mins they have eco enough to spam ashi and they can protect them quite well from the rush with those archer guys from the consulate and 5 ashi card. I'll post one when I beat a Jap around my rate.

I wonder why he was going to forward in the center of the map where you had the best chance of spotting it? He had to figure you were scouting for it.
