That's pretty badass man. All you need is a floating bridge, and you're ready to shred some faces!
Some Maiden songs are pretty simple and most of the rhythms the same formula. Good luck trying to figure out some of those Adrian Smith solos
I'd suggest starting out on Quest for Fire. The easiest Maiden solo imo. Skype me sometime, and we'll rock the hell out

If you can afford private lessons teaching scales and cords, do it. You will learn 10 times faster and won't need to play other peoples stuff. That’s my 2 cents.[/quote]
Ain't that the truth ...wish I would've done that nine years ago instead of trying to learn it all myself now.

This url has some really good information, but don't expect to understand half of it. Also, Marty Friedman from Megadeth has some really awesome instructional vids, and if I'm not mistaken, Adrian Smith does too. Hell, they're all over the place. Just look for em!

This summer is dedicated to Guitar prettymuch, and my girlfriend if I can be bothered
So yes, let's rock. If anyone has any bands they'd recommend, I'm going to check that song out Tatl.
I'm into metal, but metal that's quite classic and sounds like it has a purpose.. That's why I like Maiden/Metallica/Megadeth.... It has to begin with an M
I also like some Slayer, but not enough to warrant me being a fan.. Hmm

You can learn just as much from playing with people who have taken lessons, you can also learn pretty much anything online, but both are frustrating most of the time, especially if you are just starting out. So maybe at first to get your feet on the ground.
After that just play what you enjoy and I think most people will get naturally good at what they do after some years have passed.
