N3O Age Of Empires and Starcraft 2 Clan

So I've just purchased a Gibson SG Gothic, for £460, it's about £800 new and it's got £200 worth of pickups in it, some Zack Wylde ones..

Just curious if anyone else in the clan plays an instrument?
I'm currently at about intermediate level and can almost do the solos for 'Rock You Like A Hurricane - Scorpions' and I play mostly metal (learning some Iron Maiden classics)

So, anyone else play anything? Or got an interesting hobby?

I played guitar hero twice. Does that count?

Cool guitar looks very sleek. I don't really play much any more but I have a 1970 Blonde Fender Telecaster that was my dads and is worth quite a bit of money. Now my hobby involves riding my sexy little beast (connotations intended) - a Hyosung Aquilla GV125 .

I tried the guitar about 7-8 years ago and learned that I'm tone-deaf. Can't tell a note or keep a beat to save my life..

Barbequeing is my "other" hobby. I can cook anything on the grill and I'm quite fond of smoking meats (briskets/hams/chickens, etc.). I'm quite good at it btw, or so I'm told.

Haha cool, yeh Guitar Hero.. let's just say I've done pretty much every song GH3 on expert at 5*.. Drunk round my mates I bust out the 'Through The Fire And The Flames' and everyone thinks I'm either really pro, or really lame. Heh.

Ok, well I use to play the piano and the drums.

I play guitar as well, yes real guitar, I can play guitar hero and rock band on expert as well with ease

The song "One" by metallica in GH3 I can play the solo to on the real guitar, unfourtunetly I don't know the first half of the song's notes.

And yeah I play metal as well, I can only play one maiden song called the trooper, well the verses not the solo .

EDIT: very nice guitar btw, me likey.

Oooh Zenze, I can play the whole of One, bar the last 1/4 of the solo.. it's not through difficulty more through lack of trying, but I do love that tap bit.. and it sounds beautiful on this guitar. If you're not sure which solo I'm referring to by Scoprions, here it is in it's epic glory
And currently I'm learning Number of the Beast and The Trooper, but the Iron Maiden solo style is new to me, alot of really fast hammer-ons gets a bit confusing, but sounds beautiful.
Oh, and if anyone can play Lucretia by Megadeth I will marry you - I friggin' adore that song.

Guitar Hero is alot of fun and Dragon Force ftw! I actually saw these guys live and the solos were just mind blowingly awesome!
