The score of Argentinia - Mexico is totally wicked IMO.
Argentinia did 3 things good:
- they made the referees believe the offside goal was not offside
- they managed to profit from a supid error in the defense of mexico
- they managed to shoot one ball in the goal, which ended for the feet of Tevez kinda lucky

Argentinia never controled the match, IMO Mexico always had the upper hand, but just were a bit unlucky, better score would be 1-1 or something
This always happens ans Mexico always ends losing. If you ask me the better team won. A goal that was incorrectly counted is no excuse to lose the game like they did, and mistakes like Osorio's are just not acceptable.

GG tho.

its quite sad that you can be disadvantaged so badly in such important matches, but i think argentinia would have won anyway

You only are a very good team if you can overcome situations like these. It's a pity for the average team to have bad luck or an umpiring error. But a great team can overcome such a thing. If England would have been the better team, they would have nailed germany to their goal in the second half.
But I saw a bunch of tired premier league part non talented, part overrated stars giving it their best, but coming up short. The german goals were beautiful. I dont get it how England can keep in trying to play their best players out of their position, just to give everybody a place. After 5 years and three coaches, they still dont get the best out of gerard and lampard together. With argentina, Milito is on the bench, because he doenst fit in the team balance.

Argentina were never pushed. I have my doubts wether their defence is good enough.

The dutch are still inn, so my favorite is still a possible world champ.

And spain vs portugal: I pick portugal, nobody likes FF. (nobody likes camping/ronaldo either but there are to many portugese N3O).

i hate ronaldo, he is way too arrogant imo, i think portugal is better off without him since he does NOTHING for the team he only thinks about himself.

So srry portuguese boys but i am a spain fan tonight ^^

+1 really, he did play good vs Brazil, but that was because they played on the counter so he was alone in the attack and than we couldn't notice he is too arrogant to play the ball to a teammate ;)

Nice. You can always count on the Yanks and Brits to help each other.

I did some research on the controversial goal. I thought this was interesting:

When Soviet linesman Tofik Bakhramov was asked on his deathbed how he was sure the ball had actually crossed the line, he gave a one-word reply: "Stalingrad," referring to the brutal World War II battle in which more than a million Soviets lost their lives.

Ronaldo is a bit arrogant but imo the way he control the ball is wonderful.

And he knows how to play with his team mate (not the same as Ribery  ). So i agree with u jerom ;) .
And i find that portugal has a strong defense, so it will be hard for villa & co to score.

Thats why i think that it will be a interresting match. I hope that we will see a great ronaldo and a great spanish team with Xavi Iniesta at the top.

PS : I'm back after a long time. I had tough exams so i was very busy.

Or we could change history and let justice be done:

Germany get's the world title of 66, England can fly back and play vs argentina and Maradona.

Paraguay-Japan tied 0-0 in extra time. First game to be decided by penalty kicks?
