I like listening to Mike Oldfield when I'm playing age of empires, for instance this song:



I think this song goes particularly well with longbows, highlanders and redcoats, but feel free to judge yourself.

I personally just listen to metal when playing '' The rhythm kinda makes things go smoother and with more fun!

Haha awesome Kaiser. When I play Empire:Totalwar I have a mod that makes the drummers of each company play this and other equally rousing fife and drum battle music whenever they march forward to deliver their deadly volleys. It is very awesome seeing your lines of redcoats march forward through musket, canister and own shot whilst this music is playing!

Wow that sounds cool. I think you mentioned that game during the S25. I'd love to see it.

When it comes to other cool music, I have to share this one. It's one of the themes from COD 5... truly, truly creepy, haunting and chill-inducing. It makes me think about just how many people died in WW2 and it's frightening.

Yeah I do sometimes wonder at the level of maturity of you-tube posters, it seems like almost every video no matter what its about ends up with people bickering in the comments section. Some of them are just plain stupid, which makes them even more amusing.

But yeah the game is great, if you like the time period of Empire and colonization then this game is for you. Need a beast of a PC to run it it mind.

Have to say the ships on total war look amazing. As long as you guys keep finding these music tunes fine, but no and no no no to Irish ones!
