Yeah when drinking became legal it did loose summit but on the bright side you don't have to go to the scabbiest pubs anymore to get served and can actually go to some decent places.

You can enjoy the flavoursome alcohol without looking over your shoulder, enjoy the alcohol in scenes with background music, and attractive opposite sex scenery, at local clubs.
