i run at a 1900x1200 resolution so having the minimized ui taking the bottom of the screen still puts me at seeing more than people that run at 1280x800

Nothing wrong with the standard UI that takes up half the screen...
The small buttons on the minimized UI make my eyes hurt

I've used Enkanta's UI through AOE3, TWC and now TAD. Can't imagine trying to play with the stock UI now.
Also, if you didn't know... you see more map on widescreen compared to standard screen.
