Man i missed the starting of waterpolo in the olympics. I found out about a week ago from my high school water polo coach that they have water polo in the olympics. I'm betting it was on while i was in Princeton for thier water polo camp. I can't believe a people came all the way from canada and California to go to the waterpolo camp in Princeton NJ.
Yeah that opening ceremony was amazing. With all the countries coming in and waving their flags it was astounding how many newcomers are competing this time.

Anyone watch the 4X100 Men's relay? American's beat those talking French guys that were going to "smash the American's". US won by .08 seconds after being down by .5 seconds going into the final stretch. Beat the world record by 4 seconds. The top 5 teams beat the old world record.

Yeah that was amazing, not because of that, mainly because it was the American B team, it wasnt their proper team they were going to sub like 2/3 swimmers! lol

Yeah i saw that relay. I was heading off to go to bed when i saw on the tv that 3 guys were ahead of the previous record by a huge length so i had to watch. Man that was awesome the american guy just suddelnly overtook the french guy. The French must be extremely angry right now.
Here's one for you Chris. I'm sure anyone who follows the Olympics knows what this is, but I figured since you're one of the younger one's and a non-American you might not have seen or known about it. She completed the second vault with 2 (that's TWO) torn ligaments in her ankle.
Ok, I have a question for you Non-U.S. living folks:
How many of your countries really "care" about the total medal count from the olympics? The impression I get from the media over here is that most countries only "care" about winning the gold in select events and that the overall medal count isn't nearly as important. So, I'm going to the source. What's the deal?
