Sporting vs Nav
Sporting vs Nav
Iro vs China
Map: Borneo
Winner: Sporting
Erm. In portuguese, we have this expression ''the mountain gave birth a mouse'', so much for nothing. So, for my surprise, I see a forward village and a vill and I decide to age up fast asap. I get tomas, he gets ckn and his stuff, then I get kanyas and I beat it all and his rax. Then he ships 700 coin into the forward village, which was under my map control. gg :\
Not that expected awesome game some people thought it would be, dunno what happened to Nav

Re: Sporting vs Nav
Geeze, this tourney is full of short surprise games like this.
Well, Sporting, I'll see you next round.
Tough luck Nav. I still think you were the most skilled in the tourney.
The irony is Nav may have done better if he used one of his other civs instead of China.

I don't think so. I had already used all the civs that I actually use. The only one left was Portugal, and they have a hell of a time against Iroquois.
Groovy.

I was kinda looking forward to a long game with colonial battles and all and it turns out to be this short.

Re: Sporting vs Nav
Nice to see that you think so, in water maps the so known as OP ports give me a hell of an hard time when I FF Iro gets outboomed and you can't do much vs his tcs and army. I have more trouble vs dutch than vs china tbh as china is aggressive it suits way better my kill-kill style. The only one left was Portugal, and they have a hell of a time against Iroquois.

As I said, I can't go for the water because, due to my computer, I can't watch water battles and therefore can't protect my fishing boats.
Groovy.

LOL. In other words, he is saving Ports for the game vs you, KK.
However he didn't go through and you are spared from the wrath of Ports.

I wasn't even going to try Germans against Iroquois. That is literally impossible to win.
