Also from Gladiator, a quote that is just plain annoys me:

"This vexes me, I am vexed."

[Watching the monk practice karate]
Doc: Apparently he killed 23 men with his bare hands.
Danny Meehan: Maybe I should take up karate.
Doc: That was before he took up karate.

This is an OP movie if you like Snatch-style kinda movies !!

A couple from ghostbusters 2, but that movie and #1 have a bunch more-
Janine Melnitz: Why don’t you come here and sit with me.
Louis Tully: Okay.
[he moves to the couch Janine is sitting]
Louis Tully: So, you want to play Boggle or Super Mario Bros.?

Louis Tully: So the 7 little dwarves had a limited partnership in a small mining operation. And one day a beautiful princess came to live with them. And they bartered housekeeping services for room and board, which was a really good deal for them because they didn't have to withhold social security or income tax or nothin', which you're really not supposed to do, you see, but for the purpose of the story, I think it's okay.

Back when Rick Moranis was funny....

BTW, anyone know where "I'd buy THAT for a dollar" came from?

Another good one... "I want my two dollars!" Anyone know that one?

Hmmmm. I'm sensing a theme.

Wow! I knew I liked this clan but their great taste in movies is astonishing. People like KK, chaos and Luukje just eaarned another couple of points on my "respect sclae". I AM A QUENTIN TARANTINO FREAK, not a fan, A FREAK! I own everysingle movie he´s ever laid his hands on, inlcuding Four Rooms ( a must c KK if u enjoy him so much.) I also own every soundtrack of all his movies, and thus hear a lot of cool quotes regularly.Pulp fiction, Natural Born Killers, From Dusk till Dawn.....wow.

My all time favorite movie quote will be from the same awesome, revolutionary movie KK also quoted, namely, PULP FICTION

ezekiel 25:17
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee. BAM BAMBAM.

Thats all folks, out

Ezekial 25:17 is awesome. Too bad it isn't actually in the Bible :P

NBK was an okay movie, kind of over the top though.

From Dusk Till Dawn was entertaining at first and then quickly became ridiculous.

All of the movies that Quentin Tarantino has directed / written are absolutely great though, from Reservoir Dogs to Death Proof.

Personally I find Death Proof to be the least OP.
Natural Born killers was amasing, I saw that one maybe 10x

the thing with those movies is: they MUST be over the top, that's what make em great imho
I found From dusk till down an boring movie, till those vampires showed up, only then it became a true tarantino master piece

Agreed..... musnt 4get, however, NBK and from dusk till dawn arnt directed by Quentin. The special ingredient Quentin gave those awesome movies are (and is where he truly excels in) the storyline or "argument" as we say in portuguese. Death proof, for instance, is rather dull action wise. The scenary and production in the movie are fair to say the least. It was almost as low budget as Reservoir dogs. What made the motion picture unforgetable, once again, was the truly amazing, down to earth story line and real life OP conversations between those rich over emphazised characters. Fifty mins of pure bla bla bla and still one stays hooked in amazement at the truly simple yet demanding contemporary cotidian dialogue involved. Then he somehow does it again in the same movie with completely diferent characters. Only Mr Tarantino and his messed up mind could achieve that. I hope he rings me for some idaes when he decides to make a motion picture with some "dental issues". Boy oh boy would we have fun, 4get the Marathon man, that was 4 pu**ies.

Hope some1 also mentions a Jacky Brown quote, since "she´s" full of unforgetable "conversations". Btw KK have u seen Four Rooms yet? His first ever shot at everlasting fame in the Hollywood scene. If u havent PLEASE go find it. Im sure u´ll luv it. Same thing goes for every1 else if ur kinda into the "Noir" scene. ( wow so many peeps now googling "noir"- rofl)

Out

PS im amazed no1´s mentioned the famous and everlasting "Ill b back" quote from the current Governor.

Eh, From Dusk Till Dawn was too campy, even for Tarantino.

Death Proof is definitely the least noteworthy of Tarantino's directing / writing work, but it is still a good movie. Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are masterpieces though. Kill Bill 1 & 2 are both great.

I can't wait till Inglorious ******* comes out sometime in the next couple of years (the next Tarantino movie).

It came from one of the Robocops. Some guy said it all freaking movie long!!!!!

From Excalibur Patrick Stewart as Sir Leondegrance responding to the challenge of alliegence after Arthur drew the sword from the stone.
"Are you with us or against us?"
to which Leondegrance replies. "against you."
Not memorable for the writing but for the delivery of the phrase "against you"

Yes, it was the original Robocop. The guy was on every TV they showed. I don't remember if he was a game show host or doing a commercial. But it stuck.

Severe, you forgot the last part. "So, I got that going for me....which is nice"
