I'm not aware of any plans to stop support. That date may be the default time frame for phone support life cycles on products, will have to look at that (for replacement discs and the like).
Don't think you'll all be able to get rid of me that easily

there was 2300 people online at 1:30am this morning. ESO is fine.

Microsoft has Lifeclycles. Usually after 5 years after release mainstream support ends for every M$ product. That does not mean that the whole infrastructure is taken down, it just means no support/patches anymore.
