Ahh now i got it. So what do other guys think about my (Comas ) choises?
Re: Building a new desktop.
I5 are good for your money.
just double check the voltage for the RAM to see if your motherboard can give the correct output. Prob be 1.65v. It a mistake im living with and can only use 4GB RAM not 8 =(

Re: Building a new desktop.
good build, i would get corsair vengeance over kingston hyper x, and a seasonic psu over the antec one, rest is very fine.
also, you could contemplate going for a blu-ray drive instead of dvd. they don't cost too much imo
LG BH10LS30

Re: Building a new desktop.
Whats the difference between 2x4GB RAM and 8GB RAM in practise? Here are the ram im thinking about
http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/ ... 00-1600MHz and
http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/ ... 00-1600MHz. Also these corsair ones are 1.5v and the kingston one is 1.65v, whats the difference? I tried to look for the output of the motherboard ive chosen like joe adviced but couldnt find any info about that :S.
About the psu, which one is better:
http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/ ... virtalahde
http://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/ ... ahde-520-W or do i need a better one?
The graphics card i have chosen is overclocked and it costs 20€ more than the non overclocked version but is it worth it to pay 20€ extra? Also do i have to take the overclocking in concideration when choosing the other parts? or are the ones i've chosen already good for the overclokced graphics card?

Re: Building a new desktop.
when choosing seasonic, go for the seasonic x-560 (the x-series is what makes seasonic so great)
about your gpu, ye get the custom oc'ed one, you don't need to overclock anything with this computer, gtx 560 ti and i5-2500k are a perfect combination.
2x4GB is what you want

Re: Building a new desktop.
seems like the x series products are at least 2 times more costly
Re: Building a new desktop.
U can go along with the Antec. For what is has to offer it has a really cheap price. It is in the TOP 3 on PSU price comparison charts in Germany. The X-Series of Seasonic is a modular PSU and they have the advanatge that u don't have so much cable in ur case since u only put on the PSU only the cables u need. But i presume u are the kind of guy who puts his comp once together and doesn't open it again. So u can go along with the Antec. I personally also buy always the cheapest BRAND psu which suits my needs because i don't care about the rest. And they also deliver the power u need with high effiency
The Seasonic has also other advantages but they don't really matter because u are the kind of guy who will run his system withhin the specs of the manufacturer
If u want modular design u can also take a look at the ANtec TP-550

What is the difference between SATA 3gb/s (SATA2) and SATA 6gb/s (SATA3) in hard drives? Seems like the latter one costs like 10€ more.

Re: Building a new desktop.
Like you I can not find anything for the voltages. 1.5v would be a safe bet, but your motherboard cost like £50+ more than mine so it should be able to handle 1.65vHeJurmhoanni wrote:So is 1.65v or 1.5v RAM better for the motherboard i've chosen?joe4holly wrote: I5 are good for your money.

1.5V is better. that is the usual spec. U don't want to overclock and higher voltage means also higher power consumptionHeJurmhoanni wrote:So is 1.65v or 1.5v RAM better for the motherboard i've chosen?joe4holly wrote: I5 are good for your money.
