well some of their players are still in the stanley cup

and from what Ive heard  world championships arent really appreciated in the same way as Stanley cup

world championships is a yearly event.

World Cup and Olympics on the other is a lot bigger event in term of appreciaton from players and fans. Sadly there is some problems with the world cup

the reason is money. they don't win anything by winning the world cup, so it's more important for them to play their leagues at homesame with turkey vs usa basketball, they also sent the noobs.
