RTS-Sanctuary closing down

Re: RTS-Sanctuary closing down EDIT: Shutdown Cancelled
I have to be a bit nostalgic about AOE too. An amazing game. Sc2 needs cross realm play and clan features implemented badly. The sense of community isn't the same.

That seems completely odd since that other game that Blizzard has REQUIRES community work/cooperation to get through it.

Re: RTS-Sanctuary closing down
Rascal has a very valid point here. The game is over 6 months old and still lacks what I find 2 b the most important thing in any multiplayer game, namely the clan features to give the whole thing a community friendly atmosphere.
With the implementation (and what Blizzard calls the "revolution") of battlenet 2.0 things shouldnt b hard 2 introduce, and should have been pre planned anyway!
With regards 2 the thread title itself, and b4 we starting discussing beer, let me say that RTS sanctuary was indeed a hub for this entire community 2 venture in, and its closure is a clear sign of the times

Yup, that's the real killer of SC2 for me . . . so hard to stay interested in it and connected to it without the feeling of community.
