GSL: Code A/S Round of 4 - 7/8 Terrans

Post by 36drew »

If we add the semi's for both GSL code a/s we have 7/8 players as terran.

Terran's op? Marine nerf needed! Let the controversy begin.

Öhmm, no?

E.g. in Homestory Cup 2 with 16 top european players present, 4 protoss were at top 5.
Last GSL was won by a protoss. And protoss was weaker then

Yeah. Not grossly so, but they're clearly the strongest right now.

werent they the strongest civ b4 the latest patch already ?
Since I remember reading something published by blizzard where prottos had a win rate against zerg of like 55-65 in all leagues.

If that is right, why are they buffing phoenix + hallucination -.-

What? 65% is insanely high.

As a matter of fact, protoss had a win percentage of 43% against zerg in korea (diamond).

I don't think it's a huge problem or anything (not like Terran around release), but I think if you had to pick an OP civ the obvious choice is Protoss. But the game is a lot more balanced than it was at release.

That said, I still feel that there's a very significant "fun-factor" gap between Zerg and the other races.

I think the races arent balanced in amounts of skill it takes to play a civ, terran = easy, protoss = normal and zerg = hard, now thats imba ;)

Protoss is WAY easier to play than any other race. Just make 1 gas, 4 warpgates, all in, your in master. It's the easiest strat you can do and easiest race to play.

From my experience of learning all the races at first i thought protoss was easiest and terran hardest to learn cause i kept losing with terran and winning with zerg but now im losing the most with zerg. Atm my opinion about which race is harder to play is Protoss easiest then terran then zerg.

Imo zerg is the most boring to play. Imo you cant be as creative with zerg as with terran or protoss.

I'm just curious, what about the protoss makes you think that they are the most OP race? Is it the tier 3?
