Better said, Germany will win the world cup, no doubt.
(still hope I'm wrong since Holland is most likely going to be in the finals)

I would like to see how the game plays out if Spain can get the first goal. Germany is playing very well, but I feel a lot of the extra goals they have been getting have been due to the opponents desperation to score and their great counter attack ability.

I still see Germany winning this, but I would like to see how they respond to Spain scoring first. I guess we will see

This game is a little hard to predict. Uruguay hasn't a bad team, but come on, they were going to lose vs GHANA. They also lost their striker. 2-0 for Holland.

I'll still be rooting for Uruguay ofc :D

still... A Germany - Holland final with Germany winning would probably be the best. I wouldn't mind a Uruguay - Spain final with Uruguay winning either.

Honestly that's what so funny about everyone saying this team's better than that team and lol at that team. Uruguay dominated a lot of the play today without their top striker.

The second goal should not have been awarded due to off-sides. The game should have gone to OT.

What's amazing to me is that the size of countries like The Netherlands with a population of 16 million can gather the athletes to perform at this level, and a country like the U.S. of 600 million fails....repeatedly.

size of country doesn't really matter much. what matters more is how much that country likes soccer (yes i said soccer) :-P

He indeed didn't touch the ball, although even if he touched it you can discuss whether it was off-side or not... In my opinion it was a good desicion by the referee to let that goal count.

Btw. what a bloody moment the referee choose to end the first half. Robben was free to go and I think we could have probably scored there :(

OT = Over time.

He blocked the view of the keeper in an offsides position. By rule he was involved in the play and thus play should have been stopped.

If not, then we need to go back to 2006 and allow DeMarcus Beasley's goal against Italy that was dis-allowed by similar rule.
