Bizzare win - Aztec vs. India on Great Lake

Post by Sun_Tzu1 »

Struggling vs. India at the moment. Just played an Indian on Great Lakes.

I played aggressively but he demolished my forward and took the lead. I was in poor shape so I put everything on food and went for the Tlaloc BB, just to be asymetic. He arrived at my base demolishing everything so I used canoes to take every settler I could save to the Island on the middle of the lake. 2 Gold mines, some trees, and as much space as a postage stamp!

Fast forwarding, his score is three times mine and he's age 5 and I'm age 3. I build 2 Noble Huts and just keep producing Jag Prowlers in the middle of the board. I do all 3 hp/dam shipment upgrades. Then, I pack them into 3 canoes and land them where his original base was. They take down his TC, loads of other buildings, and kill villagers.

Eventually, he kills all my Jag Prowlers but not after they've done loads of damage. I think his army must have been over the other side of the board or something. Now, he's age 5, I'm age 4 (I've aged up) and his score is only slightly more than mine. Then, he resigns!

Bizzare.

The India water game is not that bad with European cannons and other upgrades but it is nothing compared to a good Aztec water deck. Maybe his kid needed him...

Well, few weeks ago I did the QS and played against 2nd Lt player. When my explorer found his base and took few potshots at his villagers, he called me a noob and resigned! 8O That is the most silliest player I ever had played against in my entire gaming career. I am not complaining because I gained some good PRs. :D

I played one against an Iroq player where I attacked one of his villagers with my WC age 1. He came in with his WC. Then, all of a sudden, four of his villagers suddenly die. Moments later he resigns.

To this day, I have no idea what happened. My initial thought was that he deleted those villagers. But why? Later, I started thinking he might have "cracked shoted" me and killed his own villagers by mistake. Does anyone know if the Iroq crack shot harms Iroq units too?

It doesn't harm your units, and even if it did 75 atk in age I isn't enough to kill them :\
