no your game is not up to date!!! how can it be without the fanpatch? ;-)
sportings vod is definitly good, but there is a way easier way doing it.


just copy the files you get from the fanpatch into the appropriate folder.
Backup these files and put them into a folder on your desktop named "RE 1.02"
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\DataPY.bar
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\data\
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\RM3\

then you replace these files by the modified fan patch files, now everytime you wanna switch back to RE 1.02 again you need to copy the files from the folder on your desktop into the the folders mentioned above :-P
backside is you have to copy the files manually everytime you wanna switch patches :-P

ther is no hassle with installing patch launchers or other files if you do it this way
