Re: Router problem
The DNS Server on your router doesn't work anymore. So your computer doesn't get the corresponding IP-Adress to the http://www.xyz.com Address.
Just test manual static network configuration in XP Vista
IP Adress: 192.168.1.125
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
The DNS servers are public servers of OpenDNS . U can replace them with DNS servers of ur provider if u can
If it works u wanna play AOE3 u must adjust Firewall settings in your router or u go back to automatic settings and adjust dns server in your router. How this can be done

Re: Router problem
I was thinking it could be a DNS server issue, but I didn't want to suggest it because there's probably more experienced people on this forum than myself.
All I could possibly suggest is flushing your router to get a new DHCP address, but even that may not fix your issue.
Hope you get it sorted.
