Sporting, or anyone; teach me Russians. Teach me France ok.
You know I play the game a ton but I am pretty much beast with Portugal and that's it. Every other civ i'm ok with. I also have realized I am a captain when managing my economy but a noob when managing my military. If you can help me that would be a huge help. Thanks

Help with Russians?
Here's a good rec. Not FP tho (on the other hand it worked vs OP India).

Basically there are some matchups where you have to start with muskets and strelets or start with an early stable and add strelets (like vs aztecs). Vs spain i would FF for cannons and manchu. But that is my personal preference.

Russians nor French are my favorite chapters in AOE. I guarantee you, tho, that if you find you do ok with ports, every other civ will look like easy-mode.

Yeah, I was just playing as spain and I found them to be quite easy. Just my organization was in complete disarray. I had like no gold so I set up 4 plantations. I had a ton of food yet only 2 mills and a ton of wood yet only 12 wc's. It's like...wth whatever. I couldnt find unction though. Anyone know where it is?

It's an homecity card, look right next to the missionary cards.
