I am happy to get some China recs up when I have the time, I'm playing them at a decent level now without using the basic rush that got me to Major easily.
Also will have some China + Aztec 2v2 recs of me and Chocosanta, if people want them.
Vs Russia surely the initial Strelets + Cossacks probably wont contain musks, so if you rush had with say 2x Old Han army and shipped Steppe Riders you could absolutely WASTE Strelets (I have done this, 7 Steppe decimates 30 Strelets if you catch them well) and then it's just focus fire CKN/Qiang on the Cossacks, usually about 5 or so of them?
If you get a 3 settler start (build a 2nd village) you get enough economy to keep up with Russia, anyways.

Oh, and Russian consulate helps, 4 Siberian Cossacks is awesome.

there are 2 excellent recs from NaturePhoenix on AgeSanctuary, playing the Iroquois (vs Flooky as ze Germans)

Fast Rush Sporting Style rushes hard with kanya + toma BB & shipments, then goes to III rather fast

Semi-FF Texas, starting travois used for farm, goes 4 kanya-5 vill-7 aenas semi-FF
