Russian Humilliation: Rambo strikes again
Well this dear fellow found out by the hard way that rushing an iro isn't a good idea. Also, Rambo the wolf trainer made a special appearance in a few battles where he, his shotgun, Buck the tame wolf, and a couple units totally trash strelets and cossacks and blockhouses and wtv. Some people don't like to keep in the deck High Chief + Town Destroyer so here is the tip, you should.

Thanks for posting this, I will definately check it out.
I'm getting better with my Iro's and have been giving the High Chief card a lot of thought lately.

Re: Russian Humilliation: Rambo strikes again
Good job. There is _RUSSIA_, russia_ and so on. Don't know. I think _RUSSIA_ is the good russian player, though he always does the same.

No, this time it wasnt RUSSIA, nor russia_ nor any other _russia nick, just a dude whose main civ is russia.

Brilliant rec! That Warchief was a 1-man wrecking machine. You barely needed any infantry between him and his wolves. This Russian was on the backfoot all game and just could not cope. The wolves do a nice job munching on strelets, and tomas step in to mop up the cossacks. I love it! Well played, Sporting!

Re: Russian Humilliation: Rambo strikes again
I think the turning point in that game was when he chose not to try to take down your forward warhut - at the beginning - but start for you base with it intact .
Sporting, I watched another game of your by mistake too before this one. Both games you raided his settlers with kanyas at start irrespective of what was going on with your forwards. Also, you seem to go quite heavy on Tomohawks. That's cool, and it works for you, but, I'd normally go light on H.I. vs. Russia because of Strelets - just find that interesting.
V. aggressive and mad game. Fun to watch.

Re: Russian Humilliation: Rambo strikes again
@Sun: But keep in mind, that russia normally sends 9 Cossacks early on and without tomas he doesn't have enough siege to take down the blockhouse. Normally Iro Players go for a slower age up and build a stable vs russia, so the russian player got some time and wont place his blockhouse behind his TC.

Iroquois WC in colonial with Town Destroyer does (I think) 322 seige damage.
That's equivalent to 6.7 Puma spearman. Pretty impressive.
