Sporting/Drew please review (or anyone else)

Post by Soccerman771 »

Here's a gg where we lost. I thought we played good and hard, but would like some good feed-back. We were out-ranked, but held until the 35 min mark. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else had problems? Try making the y in the age3yrec part lowercase...

Yes it did :)

I can't review both of you at the same time so I'll just review you, Soccer:

1. Start making sepoys as soon as you hit colo, you took too long to start queuing them and that's very important in team games.

2. Send the elephants to fight too, they're a good meatshield.

3. Trying to kill that castle wasn't good, you guys lost your army in that fight.

4. Get consulate asap

5. Good boom.

6. You didn't protect Rufio's lbs from nagis. As soon as they spammed mahouts, nagis, sepoys and ashi there was nothing to do cause those 40 lbs or so died :\

Still, gg.

Thanks Sporting. We talked about that game afterwards and think that going after the castle is actually what lost us the game. The VS involved in the castle isn't worth the amount of army that'd be lost in getting the castle down.

Got a question on the consulate, though. I've found a little success with the Otto consulate and the Port consulate (on water maps). The 3 hussar for raiding and 4 vils for booming from otto seems to work well as do the besteiros and culv's from port. It seems the brit miliary shipments aren't that good until you can get the hussar's and that takes way to long in my experience. I've heard to go with the Brit Consulate 98% of the time... Do you agree?

The other thing we discussed was that I should have made more Gurk's and Rufio should have made some Falc's.

Thanks again.
