36drew(British) vs. Sporting_lisbon(Chinese)

Post by 36drew »

Matchup: 36drew(British) vs. Sporting_lisbon(Chinese)
Rank: PR 32 vs PR 35
Map: Painted Desert

Description:
Both of us go for colonial fighting. I initially go for lb + pike and we have very similar early armies. He adds in some cav as things progress. I'm not liking the fact that my pikes are dying and switch to lb + hussars which works okay. I continue to boom while he makes steady villager production and sporting doesn't do much to me eco. I manage to get a 6 villager raid off not realizing he was 49 villagers. While the damage is okay, it's not enough to slow down his constant villager + military production. The game is constant fighting 35 minutes with the score fluctuating +/- 20 points of either of us being in the lead for the entire game. It is definetly the closest game I have played in a few months. There are no epicly huge mistakes in the game, just small battles that add up over time.

Who wins? Watch to find out. :)

I think when sporting comes to age 4 he can ship old han reforms and win the battle, but let's see.

I FIFY all. I think the brit eco > china + better units. How many Chinese games has Sporting played?

1v1 Useage:

Sporting China: 8%
Drew British: 26%

I certainly have a bit of an advantage there.

That one worked.

VGG. Very close. Not the typical China all-out rush.

Nice long colonial war. The battle around 20-22 mins was intense (for a video game).

I thought Drew might have won if he had pushed around the 30 min mark with his hussars.
