I say pets. Nerf disciples but don't murder them, nerf hand mortars but don't murder them, nerf the porcelain tower but don't murder it. Just give them better anti-cav... At least boost meteor hammers (fix the imperial bug where they only get +30% attack instead of 50), and boost keshiks bigtime.

FWIW, that's exactly what needs to happen..

How should the "fix" dutch? Banks w/lower HP?

That shows that pets are broken because they often turn a game around.

The Tupi natives have a cheap tech (75F 75C) that allows you to train up to 12 pet cougars from your TC... Tupi appear on Orinoco, Amazonia and Pampas... not sure how much the cougars cost but I think it's reasonable. In a big 3v3 you probably won't have time to get this together in the first wave unless you're otto and sitting on a bunch of useless wood anyway; but I think anyone could bring these pets into the second wave. And the Tupi archers are decent as well.
