Sioux vs japan is a one of the hardest matches on RE. It's also one of the reasons that RE should release another official patch.

you have two options as sioux in this MU

1 pure Axe rider start with evening star transform card being sent after u have around 20 or so Axe riders , then continue Axe production

2 FF for wakina

its an uphill battle where if both opponets are equal skill then the sioux will always lose , but these two options are your best best , bowrider fails to yumi really hard ;/

100% agree to what 36drew and DeadHandDan said

also, this necrote guy is an old player who came back(i read it at agesanc) coupled with this hopeless matchup for sioux, you don't suck man ;-)

I dont know if this can be of any help, but I have been playing Otto recently, and vs japan I just do an abus start, first card 700 wood, take trade route and build stable, while picking of some yumi and ashi, second card 700 gold, build some hussar and go kill those yumi. Hussar will own his naginata to. I beat 3 higher ranked players like this.

Maybe you coulld try and take the trade route?

sioux has a 3 tp travois card , vs japan or any other slower civ the trade route is indeed a good option . the problem with sioux though however , is that its a '' do or die '' civ. what i mean is that if you do not strike at your opponet hard and fast , chances are you already lost just based on how crummy sioux eco is.

Well, i haven't played Sioux much, but a rush worked ok for me. I don't know how it is in the new RE patch now, though. Necrote was indeed a pretty good player. Somewhere i read that Love is coming back, too. We'll see.

I used a sort of semi ff with the 3 tp card. altough my ff was almost normal speed. for wakina's. But i failed to pressure him.

I've been playing sioux lately, and I think sioux vs Japan is actually quite easy, age up with the 500 food poly, send 4 axe riders(idk I do this every game lol), Make 5 bowriders and just try to raid him with the 5 bows and axe, and then 700 gold age up, get elite bow riders, then make bow riders or axe riders depending on what he makes(in that case get elite axe instead of bow), then send 9 wakina. If he had yumi next shipment would be 3 dog soldiers, if he has ashi, then 5 rifle riders, hope this helps.

that VOD doesn't show much imo.
just avoid those kind of matches, especially if you are not too familiar with 1v1 in sup
however, people like tatltael can pull these things quite easily :-)
Avoid matches what kind for bs solution is that?
if you want a better chance of winning, do not play sioux
