Ouch!

Yes it was quick :).

Guess that's what happens when you run your Ashi into a mass of Maces. gg.

Being constructive: You could have let him come onto you. Japs can pop vills into TC & back quickly - for minimum disruption of eco. If he's coming onto you, you have a better field of vision. I've seen some good Jap players skirmish at seiging units to make the enemy engage them, and then run away. Any chasing around that goes on within the TCs range of fire is good because it prolongs the time the TC is firing at units. And, in the mean time, you can build those Shrine things all over the place for great eco... hate Japs :).

Yumi do well against Maces because of their better range. And of course Nags demolish them (horrible things!).

In fairness though, it was just an unfortunate unit combination. He had Maces & some Puma, you had Ashi. If you'd built Yumi you'd of done better. On the other hand, if you'd built Yumi he might have come at you with Coyotes. Oh well, guess that's why it's good to scout.
