Too bad. Even tho they didn't do an amazing job with TAD they were an RTS company, sucks to see it had the same future as ES.

Maybe we can convince President Obama to send some bailout money to Big Huge Games and ES. If AIG Executives can get their bonuses even after wrecking the economy, shouldn't hard-working game developers get some, too?

Well is there any senator out there that is getting campaign contributions from BHG like Chris Dodd was getting from AIG? If so, then maybe they would be willing to write the legislation into the bill likewise....

i read that somewhere and it was official information[/quote] that would be nice if another aoe was created , altho personally for me i'd rather have an aoe1 or 2 remake , the thought of a world war era aoe would i think diminish the classic aoe play style and be more like another generic red alert type series of game , i miss my 50 food club men/axeman and all pwning hoplite/phalanx units - but not the miniature buildings, seriously in aoe1 the units were twice as big as the buildings that created them lol

agree..but I was too young i guess for aoe1, just never got into it. AOE2 i played all the time, and would love to see a remake of that game. You guys think it would be harder to remake a game like that, with legal issues and all?

tbh i have no clue etrips , i too played aoe2 a lot as well , was a member of DoW clan ( dogs of war ) n believe it or not was actually a lot better at that game then this one ( idk why lol just was ) - aoe2 had pretty much no balance issues apart from my beloved Teutonic t.c. rush or mongol mangudai blitzkrieg (op! ) aoe2 was and still is the best example of aoe , my most memorable games from all aoe's were from it , including an 8 hour 1v1 vs satins_son on black forest map ( tuetons vs franks ) that was the perfect example of absolute laming , game wore on for so long we both agree to a 2 hour ceasefire so we could rest..lmao funny thing being that game ended half an hour after we both resumed - seige onagers on ground attack through forest on side of map ftw
