You can do it, Tubruk! I never used an Asian or native civ and I managed it. Just keep at it!

Ben, I think if you and I keep doing Abus/musket with our Brit/Otto combo for about 10 straight games you will find yourself at 1st Lt quite fast :twisted:

Here's the issue: Dragging Kaiser into 10 straight rated games :?

Abus + Musks/Anticav is one of the lamest 2v2 combos out there, I refuse to face it.

Fast rush beats it in most cases though. A russian player w/ 5+4 cossacks who goes stret w/ a partner who makes cav runs it right through (more often than not anyway).

The thing about otto is that they are SO fragile. One mistake can cost you a game.

My next goal is Captain. After that, I may not make a goal. I do think I can make it there pretty easily though. I just need to play more rated 1v1's. Like ANY 1v1's.

He making me play rated as well , but I get wiped off the map as they rush me as im japan then ben runs around with 20 cav killing evry villger on the map.

Well that was my goal I set back in September and achieved some of it and failed miserably at other parts of it. I think it's important to set goals and review them, so this goal has been in the back of my head for a while, and I have one day left until it's time to "revise" it.

I have accomplished some of my goal, I have a much better understanding of the game, units & civs. I can play a few different civs (decently, not exceptionally) and have settled into "my playing style" and have adopted the native civs as my top3 favorite civs.

Now, on the subject of rank... I failed on this end of my goal, but haven't been playing as many rated games as I was in September.

My new goal (a bit lofty for me) is to earn the rank of Master Sergeant by my birthday (end of March) and learn to play at least one euro civ at a decent level, and to learn to play team games (even though they are not my favorite), I'll take 1v1 any day.
