Yea, I know that's the way to go.

It's about doing it and not wanting to stop after playing a few rated games or after getting a couple good wins that is the problem.

Setting goals for yourself that you can easily accomplish?

Well i would like to add: play rated vs clan mates. Even more when your rating is high after a few wins, at least the PR or ELO points stay in the clan.

I feel a lot better when I loose to a clan mate, but sometimes I feel I play a lot less focussed to, so KK has some point.

I play my best when Im really focussed but this takes some fun part away. But in the end, its about having fun anyway.

Personally I prefer not to play rated against team mates. When I play with friends I want to just relax and not worry about the outcome of the game, even if I am trying my hardest to win.

If I'm competing for points, I'd much rather be competing against people I don't really know as well.

When Im trying to up my rating and lame a few, i dont play team mates.

But at the moment Im switching civs and I am a sitting **** duck in rated games. So i rather give clan mates a chance at easy victory, than some strange laming noob.

I have to loose a few and get my PR down, back to 2nd lieutenant because I really cant compete with PR24 and higher.

So if any of you PR 20-25 N3O players is reading this, challenge me its almost guaranteed a free win,lol!

I may be resurrecting a dead thread here but..... I finally achieved my goal!!!!! I made Captain in 99 games, thats right a whole game to spare! It maybe only Captain, but I'm so happy! Finally got those last few games in thanks to some 2v2s with one of our newer members DeaconFeral. Thanks mate!
