Right as a couple of you last night might remember, I suddenly ran out of a 3v3 game last night, because there was a party going on (apologies for that)

Well apparently, I had a bit to drink and staggered back to room and AOE3 was still on. Now I don't remember this but I apparently got involved in a 3v3. I woke up this morning, with my head on the laptop, to see the victory screen 8O

Looking at the game stats, I had a really good game, getting the most kills. Thing is I don't remember this at all. Looks like I need to play the game drunk from now on. Maybe I should enter WCG, and just drink on the flight over there :-P Also how bad must those guys who I beat feel, knowing they were beaten by a drunk

P.S This also got my rank back to captain, lol.

Upon examining the stats, your achievement is even more impressive: You went to Imperial, managed a water econ, fought naval battles AND spammed LB's for the most kills... all while sloshed!!! :-P

I wonder if somehow by you drinking your units get beer muscles? Though I thought that drinking reduced your reaction time?
How is being so drunk you don't remember iuncrease your reaction time?

It might be that your troops get so drunk that they feel no pain and just ignore all the lost limbs and fight on anyway. Like the Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Ohh the aztecs war chief could be like the black knight. He can't be killed and he is the only warchief/explorer/monk that weilds a sword(might be a huge club).

In all seriousness, sometimes a drink can take the edge off and you just build stuff and micro with uninhibited ease. You don't worry about elo, PR or any performance nonsense; you just say "B----r it!" and play. The key is to know the line betwee "taking the edge off" and getting completely wasted, which I did once before my N30 days and dropped 3 QS matches in a row.
