As I had foreseen, Spain and Sioux now rest in peace. It's surprising to see how SR nerf brang Otto down. India, Germans, Aztec, Jap and French are on top. French in there suprises me, the rest was predictable.


And, I'm very very happy to see Ports ain't bottom civ anymore! Hurray!


Still, do we call 'balance' to having two tiers of civs where the top one smashes the other one?

I think these stats still belie the fact that every civ has a reasonable chance of beating pretty much every other one, which is much better a situation than we have had before.

I find the Dutch position interesting.. Very odd, compared to the old days, no?

It's no problem, I realise that most've the guides are most likely ripped from other sites, the bigger elite communities or whatever...
Nethertheless it's a very good site from beginners, and following their guides (started with the Iro Toma Rush - back when it was insanely OP) I got from PR 5 -> 21 or so within 2 weeks of playing the game online, and it's my first RTS...
Copy peoples strats and pick up gamesense. That's the way!

Tougher but more interesting. You can't just get banks up quick and sit on them with mass skirms and cannons in your base until you run over the enemy in early fortress.

i feel like its quite the opposite, sioux has gotten alot easier to play for me

Heh what about wakina spam (and overall sioux FF)? Don't forget that a lot of civs got boosts as well.
