Mic problems

Post by GeneralMichael »

Ok when I go on vent and do a monitor test it says that the soud that i'm making is at 0. So apparently my microphone is picking up sound but it is barely audible so nobody can hear me even if i'm yelling into the mic. Anybody know how to fix this or do I need a new mic?

Have you checked your mic levels in control panel and on the vent sept-up page?

Go to "sound" via control panel and check Mike sound levels that way - see if you can tick the +20Db sound box.

If you do have a crap mike (like me), then I would suggest buying a new one. I've just ordered a new Logitech desk mike as I only want the mike and not headphones. I need to be able to hear the kids if they wake up in the night!!!
