Hmmm. I think they got a pretty good boost. You just need to make sure you don't use them in confined spaces. In a wide open fight on a map like metalopolis you should be fine. Just don't bother using them on a map with choke points like lost temple. Unless you can commit to fighting in the center of the map.

I still don't like their obstruction radius. The unit is just so big.

Well as Terran player if I see ultras instead of Broodlords at Hive tech it makes me much happier. They're just so much easier to counter than brrodlords I find.

But that is normal im sure once SC2 passes 4 years of being released the number of patches will significantly decrease

which is okay, i won't care for this game in 4 years time 8)
what lazy meant is that in it's 4 years, aoe3 received less or better to say the same amount of patches that sc2 did in it's beta phase

Yeah but what im saying is that im sure that when aoe3 was in beta or testing it had its fair amount of patches aswell... so they are not really comparable

Well, to an extent it's comparbale. The balance is already better in SC 2 than it is on AOE 3. However, it also should be since RE/ES was insane to make a game that has so many civilizations. AOE still had the potential to be the greatest RTS game ever, but for a myriad of other reasons it didn't meet it's potential. That said, I am sure the day Aoe4 is released, I will be abandoning SC 2 for it. Hopefully this happens before I have baby 36drew's running around. At least right now I still can play about an hour a day most days, and about 2 hours a day on weekends.

BTW, I had my first chance to use the new ultralisks in a Z v Z match today. They did what they needed to do. :) Fungal growth stopped them dead in their tracks for a minute, but once they got moving they ranskacked a hydra/ling/infestor army... I was ling/muta/ultra.... just a beautiful combo. That with a few broodlords might be the best combo in the game.
