The technology has really advanced. Pong, Attari, Radio Shack "Trash 80's", etc. was only about 25-30 years ago. I can still remember when a PC with 80 kilobits and a magnetic tape drive were considered "hot stuff".
A few years ago my nephew (6 years old) was visiting. I got out the old Attari to play some games with him. He had a tough time figuring things out. We were playing Tank Battle- "Those 3 rectangles are your tank and those three recangles are my tank, and these squares are the bullets we are shotting at each other." We played another Attari adventure game in which your character is represented by a square moving around the screen. We have become spoiled by all the great graphics.
Oh well, I must sound like an antedeluvian fogy to our younger members.
