OK. Time to address a SERIOUS matter.....Valentine's Day

Post by RascalJones »

Now, I know most of us are like "UGH! Made up holiday where we have to get something nice for the missus".

I think the guys here need to work together a little. I'm looking to do a quiet evening at home (once she gets home from class, that is), and I wondered the big question...

What are some "chick flicks" that she would LOVE and a guy would enjoy watching too? (Or, at least not be shoving forks in our eyes after 10 minutes).

I can name one to start.
"How to lose a guy in 10 days" There is some seriously funny stuff in there. You watch it and say "man, if she EVER did that to me..." The poker night scene is fantastic.

OK. Why did the word censor censor out "F.a.n.t.a.s.t.i.c"?

The Notebook was lame, and wicked predictable.

Garden State is a pretty decent girl + guy movie.

How about Troy? The missus can drool over Brad Pitt while you enjoy the bloody slaughter.

What is wrong with you, guys? Don't any of you want to charm the panties from your meisie? Be the MAN and go and spoil her. I am married to my mooi lady for 5 years and I still love spoiling her. In this way you'll reap the rewards (not in bed only 8O but also she'll be happier and moan less ;) )

Just watch one that you know she'll love but you may not like. They last like 90 minutes. I'm sure you can manage. After all she's still with you right? :-) If you want her to be sad then the Notebook is probably good. MAJOR chick flick though.

It's a little late but Groundhog Day is good. :-)
It's still in theaters but P.S. I Love you was like Notebook but better. Really sad.
Also in theaters is 27 Dresses. Not that good though.
If you want have a kiddie type one then Enchanted is good.

Can you tell I just got a girlfriend? lol

My Valentine's Day will be spent with her making dinner for me, and me giving her a picture of us nicely framed and a CD with songs that remind me of her.

Think flowers would be too much?

funny alex

I picked up one LIKE Groundhog Day, it's 50 First Dates

If PS I Love You was on DVD, I'd get it.
27 Dresses is completely unappealing
She already saw Enchanted with our daughter

DOOD! Alex is giving her a "mix tape" THIS IS SERIOUS!!! ;)

Flowers are never too much.....if you don't go overboard.

Usually, moaning more is a good thing.

;) ;) ;) ;)

Hahahahaha.

Enchanted was actually really good. I'd recommend that.

I can't really think of many other chick-flicks I've enjoyed. Pursuit of Happiness was decent.

Oh... Once is a pretty good movie, too.

Lol 50 first Dates. Saw that one too. Good choice!
Sean Astin plays such an odd part for that movie.

Flowers or a 1/2 lb chocolate bar? :-D
