Wow. That's bad.

GOALKEEPER Gavin Hall picks the ball out of the net as Britain's worst football team lose yet again.
But Madron FC seem to be getting better - they only lost 22-0 on Saturday - after their record 55-0 drubbing the previous week.

Wow the 55-0 is almost a goal a minute (I think). I don't think I could score that many if the other team didn't show up, I'd probably collapse after running the field a few times.

Oh my.

And you'll still have the dissenters that say that there is not enough scoring in the sport.....

I just read this about the 55-0 loss:

On Saturday they went down 22-0 to St Buryan. Only seven players and no recognised goalkeeper turned up for a game against Illogan RBL Reserves, which they lost 55-0.

Davenport, 68, said of that defeat: "It's a struggle when you only have seven players and no goalkeeper. One of the lads went in goal and did his best. I know everybody is probably laughing at us but we will battle on.

rofl, reminds me a 'cafe' team i played for, a long time ago. If we had 8 players showing up, it was a major success. Most were junkies, alcoholics, ex-cons or even wanted (small) criminals. One guy was so fat, he could barely move on the field. One guy had all his possessions with him on the field, a dog, his passport and some cigarets, that's all he owned.... crazy team. We never scored btw, but took often 10 to 15 goals. Why did we take only 10-15 goals u might ask? Well, most didnt make it to the second half, too drunk or stoned, so we had to forfeit the game.
good ol days lol
