Let's not forget that the 2nd brazilian goal wasn't goal, he controlled the ball with the arm.

Off to watch Port vs N Korea game in Cape Town stadium. :) Looking forward to the game. :)

Let me know if you can spot me in the crowd. A pity that I don't have 'N3O Representing' top. :)

Wow, the Ports sat back and boomed until Fortress Age and just unleashed the full power of the artillery. North Korea in full turtle mode never saw it coming.

if you see the brazilian player using his arm, which is forbidden of course, then you should also realize that ivory coast deserved at least 3 red cards 8)

Just a small reminder Lazy, these kind of victories have often been followed by elimination.
Check your world cup history.
The Italians, germans,... are living proof that to become world champion (and not being Brazil) you need to win 1-0, 1-0 and 1-0.
Winning 7-0, 4-0 and 0-1 doesnt work.

We know that perfectly Luukje. However it is granted that a loss is 100% followed by elimination while a 7-0 win might not be :D

and we're closely related to Brazil so we're going to exploit that relationship hahaha

Well I doubt the ivory coast will score more then your seven.
But still, in 86, russia scored 6 vs I dont know who in the first round and were beaten by belgium (who would believe that now?) in the second round.
Also in 86 in the first round denmark scored 6 vs Hungary (the emerging of the laudrups) and were elimanted with 5-0 by spain in the second round.
And this got everybody thinking: Spain for the world cup!
But alas they were halted by the mighty belgian Jean Marie Pfaff, the best goalkeeper at the time. (and now the leading character in the reality soap of his own life)
