Oh, and it needs a lime because it smells like skunk.

I agree, Wicked. Leffe is the best. Especially if you can get it on draft. I had my fill when I was in Belgium... wow, was that fun.

On the other hand, I can't disagree with Gen. Buschmann. When I'm in Berlin, you rarely see me on the street without a 0.5L bottle of these:

Corona Extra and Lime (h) yes baby its Hawt.
lime ??? sounds like limonade...
Cut a slice of lime and push it down the neck of the bottle.
I promise you its nice as hell (y)
Its true...I usually only drink corona when I have limes to stick in it. Makes that light beer taste really great.
But when I'm at school I'm limited to keystone light..so basically beer tasting water. Its cheap tho..so I guess you get what you pay for.
Anyone drink flat tire?

that is so wrong, there no better beer than belgian beer.
Leffe, Duvel, LaChouffe, Chimay... and maybe 2000 other brands are all excellent beers.

lol guys leffe is decent but in Belgium you can get a lot better than leffe. Try any of these and find your own favorite: chimay, orval, west malle, west vleteren and rochefort. Leffe is nothing more than the mass market AB inbev commercial version of those originals.

A lot of people here in belgium prefer jupiler on stella. I like vedett more, a really tasty premium lager. It's a recent creation from the duvel company. (for all non belgians who consider themselves better than average drinkers - try to drink Duvel all night, you will be in bed sooner than you think)

And of course we have hundreds of decent to excellent local beers.

leffe is mayby a commercial beer, but still belgian and still good. their are few beers who are still brewed by monks: like westvletere.... leffe was first brewed in 12 the century so has still somewhat of a history. other commercial beers of that style are grimbergen and affligem

Germany has great lager beers,...

I never understood that they don't have beers like leffe, westlvetere, chimmay... i think germans hate it if they can't drink liters of it whitout getting drunk... ;)

you can really drink liters of german beer...
