Lost and Found!

Post by Palehorse »

In November last year I moved my gaming system to another room in the house, loosing my CD in the process, or so I thought. I had gotten out of the habit of playing TAD some weeks before what with the funk that started with MS purging ES from itself, and had put my CD in storage by accident.

At Christmas, my daughters got into Sims 2 Double Deluxe on my machine since theirs were UP'ed, and I more or less just gave up gaming for a while.

Long story short, I found my CD and I want to start playing again! What patch do I need, where is it, and when do you guys play?

(Anxiously awaits replies  )

That's the fanpatch that we usually play on for clan games. For rated it's useful for PR23+.

Aside from that, welcome back Mr. PH! :)

I haven't really spoken to you much, but if I'm on ESO gimme a shout! ^.^

Thanks to DeadHandDan, I got my game patched and was able to join a game.

Any civ worth trying anew since I am almost starting from scratch? Indians or Aztecs any good at the moment?

India iro Aztec are good on ES patch. Aswell as japan but japs are lame. And on the 1.1 fan patch all civs have an equal shot of winning IMO.

Not sure I agree with this. Well the last part any way. One or two civs will always be dominant. And some matchups will be one-sided.

yeah there will always be 1 or 2 civs that are better, but on this version of the FP i dont think there will be a dominant civ in the cases of previous patches, e.g. china, jap/india, Iro/aztec. as now no civ will have a serious advantage that is game deciding. for example ashigarus or 4 kanya 5 toma in your base before you get your Military buildings up.
