Thanks for the bump, I had thought of making a new one about movies.

SOLID?!?!?!?!

Jesus Christ the intelligent jokes it had no one else in the audience seemed understand and some of the other obvious jokes were, well, a bit too obvious. Had some laughs through the film tho, I admit. Kudos to the actors for trying to save a movie with possibly one of the worst scripts ever.

Another outrageous movie. Anyone saw Nine? Haven't seen Nine yet? SAVE YOUR MONEY. We're at a crisis atm, and I can guarantee that only musical fanatics will find that piece of crap enjoyable. The story was dull and made little to no sense, with every conversyation that was about to show some interaction between actors getting interrupted by some 5 min music and dance cabaret show of half naked girls. Not that I have anything against pretty half naked girls ^^

That movie was so bad, that me and my friends went to see another movie after that. Up in the sky with Clooney! Now that was something worth watching! That must have been Clooney's best performance in his career. I highly recommend it, very interesting story, great performances by the actors and with several funny moments.

And the last one I saw was Avatar. I agree with everything that had been said about the movie, the show is amazing, like some sort of live trip to the jungle, the 3d effect isn't blatant obvious (in case you saw Travel to the Center of the Earth that was one of the first 3d movies, where every 5 mins the director would use some artifice to get your attention and remind that it was a 3d movie, like throwing stuff against your face and stuff like that). The acting and the story is okish, just good enough to support all the visual show. It's also worth watching to get to know what all the hype is about.

And yeah I've been spending a bit too much in the cinema ^^''

Also what's your opinion on the said movies or other movies you've seen?

The Men who stare at goats

a great film, worth watching. Clooney plays it really well.

Watched the Expendables and Salt, both are a little weak. Salt gets bonus points for featuring Angelina, tho :D

Expendables weak? How so? What were you expecting that you did not get?

I have yet to see it, but from my understanding it's a bunch of action heroes of yesterday teaming up to blow $#!+ up. Even if it's not classical theater, it sounds like a perfect popcorn flick. Expecting anything more than that is insanity.

Like "The A-Team". I saw that in the theater and loved it. Complete nonsense, very violent, and a few good jokes here and there. Screw any real concept of plot, because that's not why you go to an action film. If you want plot, rent Steel Magnolias. If you want to see $#!+ blown up, you go see the Expendables or The A-Team.

But, like I said, I haven't seen it. Maybe they don't blow up as much $#!+ as advertised.
