You Watch it using the aoe3 game

@ main menu > help and tools > recorded games

and to watch rec'd games you have to save in

>My Documents > my games > age of empires 3 > savegame

The only way to watch them without using AOE is via VOD and such.

I must admit it would be really nice to have a rewind feature.

it is impossible to watch a recorded game on a video player such as VLC, cuz all a rec file contains are simple instructions what happens in the game, those instructions are easy made during game, that's why the gamespeed won't slow down even though the game is recorded :-P

in aoe2 there was a chapter function where you could go ahead and could mark important parts of the rec, being able to watch it chapterwise, too bad this feature is not available in aoe3 :-(

You can only watch from an in game function such as the current in game player, the only idea that I think may be feasable would be a mod that allowed you to use rewind/fastforward buttons.

And, the fact that you can't watch recs from TAD 1.00 when you've upgraded to TAD 1.01 sucks......or did they fix that?
