DST

Post by Wetmelon »

How does Daylight Savings Time work for those of you in England and mainland Europe? We just moved ahead an hour this weekend here, so we're only 4 hours behind you at this point. I'm ignorant on how this works, so enlighten me! :P

well, on the last sunday of march, we put our clocks at 2 o'clock one hour forward(germany and thus europe)

on the last sunday of october it is put one hour back (on 3o'clock)

that's daylightsaving for me :-)

let alone all the troubles some people have with it(job, medical issues, etc.)

Lol Chris...

Many a time this has gotten me into trouble with work, showing up an hour late.

My computer does it for me automatically, but it always takes me by surprise. I don't like losing the hour sleep, but I like it when it stays light until 7 PM now :) I remember when I lived in Berlin it stayed light until 11 PM or later in June, then the sun rose at 4 AM. That was awesome.

Man I hate DST... it means I have to wake up in the dark again, which means I don't wake up for another hour.... I really can't stand it :(

Being light at night is nice, but I'd rather have it be light when I get up :P
