That is because most people just rush with them because it is a superior strategy.
In the next patch, it will be even more prevalent.
Didnt you forget ERK have rate of fire 1.5 and skirmisher 3.0, cyclo? Cause that makes a lot of difference to. With no set up, ERK are the one unit that can actually take advanatge of archer 1.5 firerate. A lot of archer units look good on paper but in real gam...

Re: What is your favorite non-Ages activity?
Other than hanging out with the family, which is really a requirement and not an activity, I enjoy martial arts. Not that I'm very good, but its a great way to relieve stress. It's the one place I can go where yelling, kicking, punching, and getting hit is not only acceptable, it's encouraged. Belie...

Re: Hey, Native Rush anyone?
^ Patch will change that a lot. They will only be doing 20 damage now (opposed to 40). For ranged minor natives, this is not an issue. France, Iroquois, and Japan will have strong minor native rushes post patch. Japan can send in a TP in Age 1 and focus on wood / food (both unraidable). They also ha...

^^ Hmm, I've traveled to Mexico many times and know first hand that you can buy pirated movies anywhere. I have seen them at the pharmacy of all places! I have also heard from friends that have traveled to China that it is the same over there. With the American economy going to crap, who are these g...

Re: The OP Aztecs and how to lame them
Aztecs require a very limited play style to win. You rush or you boat boom. I suppose they can still boat boom, but protecting those fishing ships will be much more challenging. Why only the Aztecs water dance was picked on is unknown to me considering offshore support was nerfed and the BB tech mov...

Re: A study on food collection rates
I know there is some material already out there, mainly cyclos guide, but I found some of the statistics to be inaccurate. I did a test on collecting food, which yielded the following results. Each value is the amount of food collected in one minute (yes I wa...

Re: New Computer Time
Thanks for the specs, once I hear back from Comp USA (said it will take about a week to be contacted), I will start looking into this further. Where is the best place to go to buy Windows Vista? I know Fry's will offer a special price when you buy hardware there. That's going to be another $100 or s...
BTW Cyclo, this patch was not made or affected in any way by BHG. The patch was more or less put together by Wacko, Milo and a group of 8 expert players including NP, Luigi, and Parfait.
Good point, but I imagine they are still in the approval loo...

Re: PATCH NOTES RELEASED!!!
OK, I just read through the pages of patch changes and the pages of comments and I have a few of my own. Overall, I like the patch, I think it will bring balance to the game in many aspects but a few of the changes have me scratching my head. Ranged Infantry So versus all cavalry units, skirmisher t...

Re: New Computer Time
OK, I am on my lunch break going through all this information. As far as a budget goes, I planned on spending about $500. The video card and all peripherals is already paid for (video card on warranty ~$450 saved, already have a sweet monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc.). As far as drives go, I can buy t...
